Welcome to the website of Kettering & Wellingborough Liberal Democrats
Welcome to the website of Kettering & Wellingborough Liberal Democrats - inside you can find news and campaigns about Lib Dem activities across both Kettering and Wellingborough parliamentary constituencies.
With a record number of candidates, Liberal Democrats across Northamptonshire are fighting to provide value for money and protect key local services. Since taking control of county hall four years ago, Conservative councillors have wasted millions and slashed services for the young, the elderly and the disabled; we believe it's time for a change!
You can use this website to find out who your county council candidate is, and to contact us if you have any comments or questions.
We are also campaigning to re-elect hardworking Liberal Democrat Euro-MP Bill Newton Dunn, who with other Liberal Democrat MEPs has fought to lower bills for consumers, reduce unnecessary burdens on Northamptonshire business and have pushed to make the European Union more democratic and transparent.
We hope that you find this website useful - please bookmark us today!

"Anyone who wants to pass laws in this country should pay this country's full taxes and not hide behind the special offshore status of non-doms. Non-doms have to tell the taxman that their first allegiance is to another country. No-one should be a British lawmaker whose first allegiance is not to Britain. "
Chris Huhne, Liberal Democrat Shadow Home Secretary

"I think people are entitled to expect a sensible, stable government at a time when the country is facing very, very acute choices. We take what the markets are worrying about immensely seriously. We will not take any risk with the creditworthiness of the economy. "
Nick Clegg, Leader of the Liberal Democrats
